Common questions

Everything, explained.

How Puff Travel works, what we book, where we operate, and how compliance travels across state and national borders. If you have a question we didn't answer here, tell us on the waitlist.

When is Puff Travel launching?
We're aiming for a 90-day private beta with our first 50 hospitality partners in San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Denver. Waitlist travelers get first invitations. International destinations follow shortly after — starting with the places already welcoming cannabis travelers today.
Is Puff Travel legal?
Puff Travel is a marketplace for legal hospitality — stays, tours, lounges, transport, dining. Cannabis itself is purchased directly from licensed retailers at the venue, never through us. We only operate in jurisdictions where these experiences are legal — in the US, and abroad in places like the Netherlands, Thailand, Spain, Jamaica, Canada, and beyond.
How does pricing work for hospitality partners?
Zero to list. We earn a competitive commission only when we deliver a paid booking — comparable to what you'd pay any major OTA, but with traffic those OTAs cannot legally send you. Our first 50 partners get founding-partner rates locked in for life.
What about consumption rules and 21+ verification?
Every traveler is age-verified at signup. Every listing is geofenced to jurisdictions where the experience is legal. Consumption only happens at licensed venues and properties — never in transit. Compliance is built into the platform, not bolted on — and it travels with you across borders.
What if I'm not in one of the launch cities?
Join the waitlist anyway. New York, New Jersey, and Michigan are next on the US side — and Amsterdam, Bangkok, Barcelona, Kingston, and Vancouver are already on the international map. Your interest helps us decide where to expand first.
Can I bring cannabis across state or national borders?
No — cannabis remains federally illegal in the US and is regulated state by state, and most international borders prohibit transport entirely. Buy where you go, consume where you go. Every Puff Travel itinerary is designed so the experience is fully bookable within the local legal framework.
What does "one cart" actually mean?
One checkout. One confirmation. One number to call if anything goes sideways. Your stay, your tours, your lounge tickets, your dinner reservations, and your transport — all reserved together, all reconciled together. No more piecing together a weekend across eight tabs.
How do you select hospitality partners?
Every partner is hand-vetted for licensing, safety, and quality. We don't list anyone we wouldn't book ourselves. Founding partners are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis with location balance — we want one or two outstanding partners per category per city, not a flood.
Will Puff Travel handle flights and hotels too?
Yes — that's the destination. We're building a full OTA where flights, hotels, and cannabis-friendly experiences sit in the same cart. Phase 1 (launch) focuses on stays and experiences; flights are integrated in phase 2 via our airline aggregation partner. Until then we surface flight options and link out — but you'll always book your stay and experiences with us.
I run a dispensary, lounge, or 420-friendly hotel. How do I list?
Visit our partners page and submit the application. Founding-partner slots in San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Denver are limited — we cap each category to keep quality high. Our team reaches out within a week to walk through your inventory, pricing, and listing.
